Otherwise occupied

Renovations are taking over my time and thoughts. I am anxious to get into my sewing room. The sewing room has not only become the work and storage area for fabrics, but is also the place where the shower doors, drywall, boxes with toilet segments and boxes with sink and cabinet components are all being kept. I can walk to my sewing machine, but to iron or cut is impossible! So the past couple of weeks have been occupied with other HomeArts, which is mostly Crochet. I bought Quilt Magazine this weekend and it has a quilt on the front that I am inclined to make -- as scrappy one again, but the block is the letter "S". So should I wait til I can go through my stash for suitable fabrics for it, or should I go shopping??? Check back in a few days and see what may have happened with that idea.
